Step 1: The Registration and Prospectus

Registration Form

The Registration Form should be filled in and signed by the person responsible for the student's education.

Documents Required

Original Birth Certificate (Pre-Nursery & Nursery).
Two Passport size photographs of the child.
One Passport size photograph of each parents.
School leaving certificate (Class K.G. onwards).
Latest Report Card of the last School attended (Class K.G. onwards).
Copies of Students school reports (Not applicable for Pre-Nursery & Nursery)
These documents should be submitted along with the Admission Form.

Step 2: Selection Criterion

     
Admission for Pre-Nursery: No. of seats - 75
Draw of Lots on 12 January 2012 at 11:00 AM
Priority Groups:

    a)  Sibling of students already studying at Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh.
    b)  Staff children of Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh.
    c)  25% Seats are reserved as per RTE only in Pre-Nursery.

Final List:

The final list of selected children will be put up at the School website and Notice Board on  15 January 2012.
Collection of Admission Form from school reception within three days of result declaration.
Admission Form for waiting list on 31 January 2013.

Deposit of Fees:

From 16 January 2013 to 25 January 2013.

Admission for  Nursery and K.G.

For Nursery and K.G. the admission is done on the basis of Interaction. Entry is strictly on the basis of merit and on the availability of seats in respective classes.

Interaction Schedule:  15 December 2012 and  22 December 2012 at 11:00 Am.

Collection of Admission Form from school reception within  three days of result declaration.

Admission for Class I to X:

For students of Classes I - V selection is done on the basis of Written Entrance test, and for Class VI - X  open book Entrance test followed by an interaction.
The basis of the test is to assess the ability of the child for the level for which admission is sought.
Entry is strictly on the basis of merit and on the availability of seats in respective class.

Entrance Schedule:

Class I to X: Entrance test on 22 December 2012 and 12 January 2013 at 10:00 AM.

Display of list of selected candidates: 26 December 2012 and 16 January 2013.

Collection of Admission Form from school reception within three days of result declaration.

Step 3: Payment

       The selected candidates may collect their admission forms from the school reception. The Admission Fee, Development Fund & Caution Money need to be deposited at the school Accounts through a  cheque. The total fee is divided into four quarters and is deposited before 07 April 2013, 07 July 2013, 07 October 2013 and 07 January 2014.
