Gurukul Global School ,Chandigarh welcomed ‘Sanskar-The Grandparents Club members’ at the school premises.Sanskar Club is an initiative of Gurukul Global School started 3 years back with the purpose of keeping the traditions of Indian Culture alive by involving the Grandparents actively in their children’s lives. The school considers its responsibility to sensitize the children towards understanding and helping the old generation with a positive attitude and giving an opportunity to old generation to interact with the new generation on the same level.Grandparents are an anchor in a child’s life providing them with eternal values and wealth of life’s experiences which are amiss in today’s nuclear family system.
Club members meet on a monthly basis to interact with young Globalites and to impart words of wisdom to them.Havan pujan is conducted every month on this day to celebrate birthdays of children thus enabling them to take blessings from their elders.
